TCD Ltd was established in 1971 as a procurement and liaison office for a Group of companies in The Sudan. Its primary role was, and is, to supply raw materials and machinery to manufacturing plants throughout the Group, as well as providing support for its service companies. TCD has developed a strong relationship with leading European manufacturers in various sectors, expanding its initial supplier base to the level it has achieved to date. Having achieved high efficiency and savings through structured buying, TCD has used its competitive edge to extend its supply to other companies. It is committed to supplying reliable, quality products, and is constant in its effort to keep abreast with developments in industry. TCD's expertise lies in serving the cigarette manufacturing industry, shoe production, and the printing and packaging industries, however, the company's strengths are not restricted to these sectors. Company policy has always been to derive as much knowledge as possible from projects so that skills are continually acquired and developed, and can be applied to other work. Putting this theory into practice, TCD has recently commenced procurement for an air cooling and refrigeration plant.
